The sky was dark
The moon was light
It was almost midnight
A single shiver went down my spin
In the moonlight.
The day had come and the stars were gone
And we looked like we were young and free
Although he had control of our souls
He’s name untold
But he’s story well known
We were all old at midnight
But when the light had come we ran back to our homes
At the moonlight
At midnight
The darkness was to light...
