Fleeing from the challenging and gloomy life she lives at home
The audience senses that she is the one
Luscious hair, layers of makeup, superior costumes all perfectly made
Eyes sparkling at the judges, making them want more
Flawless, spiritfilled face beams as the perfectly suited song finishes
Perfection on stage. Flawed at home
The depressing hit of reality comes
She closes her eyes, remembers the adrenalin and has to move on
The walk back to the dressing room feels very long and dull
A shadow of regret follows her all the way
Reminding her of the nightmares that she pretends she can't remember
Clutching onto all the memories she wished she never had
Sobbing one last time and wipes her last tears away
