Excellence Award in the 'The Write Track 2015' competition
Strolling on the bus, eyes disheartened,
An attack of racism day by day,
Everyday people scattered around
A man race towards her
Proud as can be, she refuses to stand up
Everyone was in outrageous shock, glaring into the streams of her tears
Shaking with fear, she makes her way to jail
Later that dark starry night, the hero was released
Happiness dwelt in the moonlight
The courage that was shown,
Black people were free to sit on the bus anywhere
No longer stuck in the world, lost in imagination
Memories are always heavy if your black
Rosa changed it all
