A perfect circle – so smooth, a watchful eye would be hard pressed to find a groove.
Yet we have no choice,
Pushing and stretching we form,
Born into a society,
Where we must conform.
Because there will be rights as well as wrongs,
And moments that confuse us,
Our brains are stamped with circles,
We must learn not to let them rule us.
Wander around the edges we may,
Or settle at the pit,
We must find our circle’s groove,
A brave imperfection – that wasn’t made to fit.
