I hear echoes in the desert,
silence in a crowd.
Voices in the shadows,
disappointment when they’re proud.
lurking in the darkness,
feasting on desires.
Savage at heart,
but normal is how we’re wired.
bred to be different,
to hear the unheard.
To see the beast inside us,
to embrace the absurd.
Screams in the dark,
or silence of blame.
Why does it matter,
when we’re all wired to be the same.
