Kids These Days

Kids commit suicide because of those words
Kids will copy all the things that they heard
Kids have sour mouths from the things they see
Because kids think "cool" is the way to be
Kids will pick on the cursing jerk
And kids will say what they know will hurt
"just give up, you suck"
"hang with us? Good luck"
"please just do us a favour and run into a truck"
Most kids these days will push and sneer
Some kids won't let the others come near
Kids go home feeling down and sad
Because the other kids made their day go bad
Kids go to school and then take the fall
Because really those kids are best of all
Those kids are the example for us to learn
Because our kids one day may get their turn.
