Sneaking down the secluded hall
Eyes searching for any movement
Always on alert.
Life depended on it.
You would be too,
With the explosions and all
No time for improvements,
To this sickening scene.
Life is important,
So it seems.
Every where guarded.
Bolted and locked each night.
Guns flare at any sight of distraction.
Care is needed on this battlefield,
To evade the fight bound to occur.
If they see you past the door,
It will end with war.
