I could feel it climbing up and up; on my still body
it starts on my swollen stomach. Reaches to my cuts.
It enters deep cracks of black depression.
Warming yellow, climbs inside the crack, overflowing like molten lava
it feels warm as it touches my cold insides.
Seeping through, touching my black intestines.
Over flowing them with every colour of the rainbow.
It starts at the lungs, spreading down to my skinny limp legs,
Warmth is slowly over taking as this snake that is giving me life.
It sooths the stress, the beating, the words.
It touch’s my still heart, giving it a beat.
It slithers slowly up to my head. Giving colour to anything it touches
Wraps around my brain, and squeezes the black ooze,
it pierces my brain
releasing the dark depression that has taken over.
