Darkness

I’m scared of the dark,
It’s as if as soon as the lights go out the widows appear,
And I just wish for the light,
Light that will just brighten everything up and fix everything,
That will make the world a better place,
But there will always be darkness,
Apparently before you can see the light you have to deal with the darkness,
But is there ever any light,
No….. But then yes
There is light from the sun that brightens the day,
But then there’s light inside you that takes over the darkness
But does it really take away the darkness???
The light cannot outshine the darkness,
It can’t just come in and make everything brighter and better,
Because at the end of the day the darkness takes over,
The darkness always wins there is no escaping-no one is saved from it.
