With blood and tears shed,
The war that made Australia
Medals of rust
Come down in a clust
The war that made Australia
The crestfallen cries
For our loved ones that died
The war that made Australia
Anger and loss
For their country is lost
the war that made Australia
Guns that fire
with an extensive desire.
Now peace and hope always stays,
From the war that made Australia
