As we had arrived at Manly Beach,
The seagulls had instantly started to screech,
Energetic and excited we jumped out the car,
We were about to walk somewhere quite so far.
Walking about the beach to get to the mountain,
We filled our empty bottles from a water fountain,
As we are on Shelly Beach we pass a group about to dive,
We step onto the track and hear the animals thrive,
Passing on our way we see different creatures,
With many different unique features,
A particular animal caught my eye,
An echidna that I wanted to hold, but I knew I would soon say goodbye.
We left with smiles on our faces,
This also reminded me of when I had travelled places,
The joyful memories of Italy, France and Bosnia,
Shall stay we me except for the plane nausea.
