The rain fell heavily. It was a night full of tears.
Mothers wept quietly, for sons lost these years.
Blinding light from a clouded moon,
Swept the land and revealed its doom.
Fire was rage and rage was war,
Those who came, barely saw.
The deafening silence, disturbed by rain.
Didn't cc help mothers ease their pain.
No shame was felt only overwhelming grief,
For those who were left to eternal sleep.
Boom! Went guns that stole last breath,
And like the tip of a knife lead boys to their death.
Fire was rage and rage was war,
Those who came, never saw.
