I am the Autumn Fairy. I can do everything to change the season to autumn.
I love to keep the children amused (the dog’s too) by creating piles of brown leaves for them to jump in. Sometimes I hide pumpkins under the big leaves and the kids count to fifteen, then happily try to find them. I like to turn the weather cool so the children dress in their warm, sparkly boots, woollen coats and orange-blue beanies. We fly our kites in the autumn wind and have lots of fun.
Then I make an early sunset and it’s time for the children to return to their warm homes. They have some pumpkin soup, have a hot bath and go to bed. I wave my magic wand over their heads and bless them with happy dreams of another fun filled autumn day.
