People being forced to go,
or pretending to be older.
Past the barbwire, through the trench.
Dull rivers, dark skies.
Bad memories, loss of families.
Poor parents, poor children.
Men falling in silence,
women there to help.
On and off the battlefield
fighting for our lives.
