His love fraught with compelling danger,
It is difficult to define;
An intoxicating and deadly poison
Siphoned from cloud nine
Still everyday I sip this drink
Decanted from the devil’s flask
Knowing no worse fate to suffer
Nor one that could surpass
And he will wait in the witness stand
Won’t play victim to this crime
For the power of his hold on me
Has me plead guilty every time
It’s an involuntary choice to love
Though nonetheless one I would make
For the euphoria he fills me with
Touts death a worthwhile take
