The mornings come one after another
A bowl of rice between each other
Three days, four days, five days past
Ours stomachs groaning we might just last
Concaved bellies, bones revealed
There’s not enough food for our wounds to be healed
Cries for help, cries for food
I’m just a little kid I don’t know what to do
We need a solution it’s for the best
Please I want to be healthy just like the rest
It’s hard enough to cope
But
We will always have our hope
