War
War is sore
Death is mess
It will never rest
Days, months, weeks to years
Away from home, fighting for them though
Returning home, not for many
But those who do
Return with pain
Many awake at night unable to sleep
For which relationships are weak
Memories drown ones that are good
Poems and stories don’t tell us all
No-one will never experience it all
