Gun and bullets,
Abandoned on the battlefield.
Loved ones left behind.
Little children with no father or mother.
Innocent lives in brutal combats
Picking through ice filled trenches
Overthrown and ambushed by enemies unseen
Lives viciously taken, lost forever.
Injuries everywhere
Bombed in their little trenches
Always ready for action
Trauma,
Tears and terrors as the soldiers went to fight
Less or more the soldiers paid an
Enormous price for our country. Our allies paid a big price for theirs too.
