My loving and loyal,
Faithful and cheerful,
Friend through and through,
How can I live without you?

Your loyalty guarded me for years,
Protecting me from danger and calming my fears
But all good things must come to an end.
That day I said goodbye to my very best friend

But what you meant,
And what we shared,
Shall never be forgot.
Our friendship spans the years behind,
And the memories of us will always be
And you right next to me.

I'll keep that photo of you up on my wall,
So that I'll always remember you as the best dog of all.
