I am a Star
I shine and sparkle brighter than a beautiful diamond in the brilliant bright night sky.
I am jealous of sun because he shines bigger and brighter and shimmers more than anyone,
He also snoots about his glorious golden glow,
Something that I would never show.
I am liked by all cute creatures to smiley small to brilliantly big,
Without wondrous me there would be no little lights at all.
I paint the perfect silky night sky a wonderful colour from lily light blue to pure purple.
I dance and dazzle twinkling from toe to toe but in the day my dazzling is soon out shown.
When the shining sun comes up I always say goodbye,
But I always look fatefully forwards to shimmering and shining tomorrow night
I don’t last forever so enjoy me while you can,
Sometimes I die peacefully and no one notices, but sometimes I die with a big BANG.
I am a star.
