The world is a blind, blind world my mama used to say,
Blind be B just after Abuse in the alphabet way.
Crime can snatch wives, kill lives with stabbing knives,
Discrimination can depress, deform and destroy strives.
Envy, built by others’ luck, possessions and qualities,
The Forgotten, left alone by the streets, down on their knees.
Our Generation, blandly bent with headphones in ears.
The planet uncared with eyes glued to screens.
As years go by, waiting for a hero to cut the rope,
A blind, blind world It is for now - but next comes Hope.
