You’ve trained yourself to smile
To anyone you meet
No one should see
No one should know

You greet your mother ‘hello’
Walk away as she turns around
She should not see
She should not know

You watch the red beads form
Relieving yourself for now
They should not see
They should not know

You take your last breath of air
And let yourself free
No one would see
No one would know.
