Excellence Award in the 'Read Write Repeat 2015' competition

Every night I kneel and pray,
With tears falling from my face
That God lets tomorrow be the day,
That you're out of this disgrace.

What's it like out there?
Is darkness hiding your smile?
Are there many things that you can't bear?
But you hope its all worthwhile.

My mummy is deeply worried,
My siblings are filled with despair
Through lots of danger you have scurried,
Please come back home to our care.

I'm scared and fully frightened,
That you will never return,
But the hope in me has reignited,
Please make sure to take the right turn.
