My lips slowly moved up to the glass cup
Shivering, each time I held it up and got closer
I swallowed the thin light green liquid
My stomach churned
The monster creeping up inside me
Clenching to every part of my body
I could feel it wrap its fingers around me
Growing bigger, growing hungrier
Each second it got stronger
And each second I became weaker
My eyelids felt heavy
I closed them
The pain was worse
My ribs ached, the monster squeezed them tightly
I held my breath, but..
The only thing stopping it was fear
