Lift my arm, lift my leg
As a marionette you toy with me
Lock my wrist, tie my legs
As a marionette you control me
String my hand, string my feet
You control all of my movement
I am but a marionette
But soon I will find freedom
I'll lift my arm, lift my leg
As a human, I choose to move
Unlock my wrist, untie my leg
Still you try and control me
Make me wry, make me cringe
You greed is something to fear
Try and use me try and toy
There are strings attached no more
