My day starts off with waking up,
Get ready and make a tea-filled cup.
If we ever have a chat, you’ll know I’m not all that.
Within me lie deadly secrets,
For which some, I have not paid the debts.
At 12pm, I’m free,
At 12am, I can’t see.
When I sleep, insects gnaw at my conscience,
When I’m awake, butterflies make me nauseous.
Monster’s hide in my closet,
Spirit’s lay in my thoughts.
For which I am abandoned,
Though clearly not.
Who am I?
Who I am, is you.
