Was I Wrong? Was I Right?

I ran far far away,
I couldn’t go back, no way,
I’m sad, I’m mad; I don’t know what to feel,
I don’t know why, why he’d steal?
Now he will rot in jail,
I think to send him some mail,
Was I wrong? Was I right?
Why did he do it in the night?
I stare at the ceiling in despair,
I don’t know if he was really there?
Was I wrong? Was I right?
Was he there in the light?
What to do, I don’t know;
Should I stay? Should I go?
Maybe I should stay away,
And come back another day?
