Excellence Award in the 'Read Write Repeat 2015' competition

The sun shines as it brightens up our cities and towns,
while we take flight in the shining blue skies all around.
To see what's new with me and you
and also with others too.
However, when the day ends and the sun goes down
the people and animals go home to settle in their town.
We go to rest our bones for the day that's next
so we can go out once more and play again.
We can once again spread our wings,
while we take in what the new day brings.
Once more it will show us what is new,
but now I've told you everything I say goodbye to you.
