Dear Future generations
I'm sorry for the destruction we caused
that left you with nothing
but with that nothing there once was something
you see we once had trees
that swayed in the breeze
that lent us fresh air to breathe
but we burnt them down to our knees
I'm sorry you never got to see our animals
and create very extra special bonds with them
I'm sorry for the water we polluted
and denied to except the solution
and that you will never get to swim in an ocean
because we denied the pollution
I'm sorry we only cared about money
and for that money we destroyed but never created
a better world
