Yay it's Sunday, it's footy today
I'm super excited and can't wait to play
I grab my boots, as I run out the gate
I better hurry because I don't want to be late
The Ref makes a good call
He said it was our ball
My team scores a try, it's my turn to kick the goal
I take a big breath, YAY it goes over the pole
The hooter blows, it's time to start the match
I run, I tackle, I take a great catch
I'm running so fast, I'm sure I can fly
Under the post, I score a great try
The hooter blows for full time
We head for the sideline
My team was so proud
So was the crowd
