Now we’ve reached the end of the year,
The days like stripes on a tiger,
Unknown the path our life will steer,
The possibilities become wider and wider,

The future is right in our palm,
Following us as our squire,
Still like the water’s calm,
With perfect winds to our desire,

But like seas infested of shark,
At the spin of a single finger,
Our tomorrow can become quite dark,
The more we let our studies linger,

We can’t escape with a simple prayer,
Independence or becoming a nomad,
The tests will show how well you fare,
The life you will have from the one you could have had.
