We like to say we understand when really we have no idea.
The frantic rushing of feet on a busy day.
Why such a hurry?
Angry voices thundering down from above.
Why be so bitter?
The need to always get higher, closer.
Why not just accept?
Sometimes I know everything, sometimes nothing at all.
Why try to change?
Ocean jewels washed up against the shore,
The pitter-patter of river water rolling over pebbles.
Clouds rolling across the sky, there one minute and gone the next,
Starting from a seed and blooming into a story.
These crucial things we disregard, these vital things we miss.
One simple goal could show what we all want, what we need to do.
Open your eyes. Take a moment.
