Older and wiser than what I was in year eight,
Suddenly the world seems a lot less great.
They laden me with homework,
Soon I’ll have to get a job and work.
I want to be free to enjoy my newfound wisdom,
Rule the weekend like my own kingdom.
Maths I don’t do so well,
I always dread the end of lunch bell.
But I do love my school,
It is really the place of cool.
I understand the world like I never did before,
Knowledge, ah, please give me more.
Found new ways to express myself,
This year has really helped me find myself.
Great friends that are both crazy and mad,
So being in year 9 isn’t all that bad.
