I pulled down the book off the highest shelf,
Put it on the floor,
And thought to myself,
I wonder if I can go through.
I pulled down the book off the highest shelf, Put it on the floor, And thought to myself, I wonder if I can go through.
My favourite book filled with adventures and dragons, Beautiful fair maidens, And a hero's pageant, Oh, how I'd love to be there.
I leaned down and opened the book to the start, Saw the familiar words, Felt the stir in my heart.
Why couldn't I be part of that world?
So I took one humongous final breath,
I closed my eyes....
And took a cautious step.
