Eagle Junction State School Library

I can see: Bookshelves stretching forever, kissing the distant wall
The best books are always on shelves that are tall
Big and small words in endless pages
Lots and lots of books that have been there for ages
I can feel: Smooth covers of the Harry Potter books
Feel the crumpled pages, thats also how it looks
Fear of Voldemort stabbing Potter
Peeves singing "Oh Potter, you rotter!'
I can hear: Book pages flick, flick, flicking
The clock is tick, tick, ticking
I can smell: Drifting close, the musty waft from pages
Once crispy and white, getting old through stages
I love: This precious place to drown in stories
There's not another place I'd rather be
In the Eagle Junction State School Library
