One side and another fight,
Battle for right causes
Doesn't give us the right
Neither rests nor pauses,
Don’t go for glory or money.

Fight for our freedom and country
Thousands came to save,
Lying dying and hungry
Young lives they gave,
Some died and some survived.

The heroes who saved us,
Rescued family and friends,
Stayed strong because they must,
Country to make amends
A debt to be paid.
