You try and run but it’s no use,
The darkness is everywhere.
You feel it wrap its cold icy fingers around you,
You try and escape, but with no avail.
Suddenly the darkness lunges at you,
You scream hoping someone, anyone will hear you.
The world turns black.
Blacker than it had before.
You hear your name being called out, far away in the distance,
So far away it sounds like an endless echo.
The blackness that surrounds you turns blacker,
The voice getting closer.
Suddenly the black becomes white,
You feel someone shaking you,
You open your eyes, screaming.
