I keep a good secret, but I like the silence of falls
It wipes my memory, thinking, and I can’t hear at all
Everything drops into slow motion, goes into peace
My body falls limp, mind releases a beast
Of overwhelming doubt and sudden fear
That once I hit the ground, the end is near
I block out the sounds outside of my mind
Not thinking of who I will leave behind
And so it is natural, although it sounds dark
But after the fall, reality hits…
and reality hits hard.
