Slipping through the cracks,
I realise there’s no way back,
Holding on tightly to the pieces of her,
Two years later and her face is just a blur,
Memories we said we’d keep forever,
Turn out to be nothing special to treasure,
Her beautiful soft voice is hard to forget,
But her personality is better yet,
I will be reminded of her everyday,
When I see the beautiful maple leaves in May.
