Trapped in a limbo
This life was not what they desired
Friendships, loves and compassion
Formed by years-years-and years
Thrown away, blowing in the wind
A single glimmer of light, hope, freedom
Tainted by blood
Smeared with lies
Bruised by betrayal
What did they achieve?
To metamorphoses, assimilate to this new world
The greed in the hearts firmly grip
Morals, lost, covered by a facade of courage
Sacrificing everything,
Only to be incarcerated.
