Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to talk to you again
I no longer wish for light to come
For pain comes with at great sum
My hope has dwindled
Down to a single light
That is slowly fading
From my sight
Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to talk to you again
With sadness I wander through the shades of night
For my heart no longer harbours light
For my hope is long gone
Between the dark and the dawn
