Last Tear Drop

"Mom, dad's coming back from the army right, it's Autumn now", saying those words my eyes looked down. holding the rock that dad gave me , it was obvious he wasn't going to make it again . 3 years and he never wrote back, every day I'd write to him and wait but nothing happened.
The phone rang and I answered, it's the hospital"are you the Buller family". "yes" my heart beats faster,"I'm sorry but mister Buller's gone",then it stopped. "He didn't make it through the war" (the phone hung up). I dropped the Rock and a tear fell for the last time.
