Metal bars surround me
Someone threw away the key
I whimper, but there is no help
Even when I am belt
Day in, day out, sunrise, sundown
I’m stuck in this hell to pout
Click clack crack, click clack crack
The devil is back
My scruff is grabbed and I’m pulled from my cage
The devil in a purposeful almighty rage
“Get up you filthy mutt”
Then my paw was savagely cut
“You’re a useless waste of space”
The devil never gave me any grace
A cold metal gun to my head
I close my eyes waiting
