Black is darkness,
Lurking in the night sky.
Black is what you see
When you shut your eyes.
Black is extreme pain
That you feel alone.
Black is the smell
Of very close, lurking bones.
Black is the emotion
Of extreme, icy shiver.
Black is the colour
Of your after-smoked liver.
Black is the colour
Of a bumblebee.
Apart from yellow,
This is the colour you see.
