So on a hot summer’s day I was getting made in a cricket factory for the Ashes. I was getting thread into myself, it really hurt but I was very tough.

A few weeks later I got carried in this bag to an International cricket training. I finally got shown some sunlight but… someone picked me up and got a run up and BOOM! I hit the ground so hard I almost fainted.

Oh my I’ve been chosen to be the first ball to be bowled in Ashes history. WHY OH WHY?! First ball of the day was a wicket, LBW. The next ball was hit hard for six and a rough landing. The rest of the balls were slower and I got used to being hit.

A few years later I am being put on display for being the first ball to be bowled at the Ashes. I thought to myself I will never forget this memory. I then realized the bowler was Donald Bradman. I was so stunned I nearly lost my consciousness.
