Many a time ago my people came to this land
They landed on her beaches and crawled up her sand
They cared for her, and all of her wondrous creatures
And kept in good health all of her beautiful features
They played on her beaches and swam in her seas
Cruised in her rivers and played in her trees
Speaking of the Dream with a gentle admiration
This was before they landed in our nation
Many a time ago, they came in huge boats
Full of white men all wearing red coats
They stripped our mother of her land and her pride
Meanwhile my people where simply brushed aside
I dream of a time where we are unified as one
And neither of our peoples are outplayed or outdone
Where we all live in happiness regardless of our race
I couldn’t be happier dreaming in this place
