Through My Window
On the weathered, weary, wooden floor of my room.
A long vertical mirror is at my left and a bleak, silver fan swings in circles above me like a helicopter. The room itself is a deep purple, filled with fictional books, photographs, old and new. This is my haven. As I look through the window I see...
An ancient Leopard Tree towering up into the sky and beside it, a young Olive Tree just beginning it`s journey of life.I can smell the fragrant flowers that bloom in the vege garden outside my room and hear a Kookaburra laughing softly in the wind.As I glance up, I see a white dove swerving underneath the oncoming storm. A bike bell rings just as the first drops of rain start to fall. An old man rides past, whistling a tune. He lets go of the handlebar and raises his hands in a peace sign.
My window is my eye into the world.
