Hi my name is Chantel Heffleberg and this is my story. Well where do I begin well I guess I can start off at the start and say my name is Chantel and I am 16 years old. I have quite a big family consisting of my 2 older brothers Jake and Jack, 2 older sister Selina and Katie, 2 younger brothers john and Rubin and my 2 younger sisters Chloe and Casey. I was born in a small town in America called Sebastopol the population is only around 7,500 people. So everyone are quite close to each other it was kind of like a huge family. It was kind of hard to live in Sebastopol because Sebastopol was so small there was only one small school and there wasn’t a lot of jobs around the area. So my mum and dad had to drive an hour to and from their job from Monday to Friday and didn’t have time to pick us up so we had to walk home every day. When I was 9 or 10 my mom and dad were sick of traveling to and from work and missing out on sending quality time with the family that they decided to pack the family up and move to Queensland Australia It took around 24 hours for us to get there with all our stuff. My family was so happy to get off the plane and walk around for a little bit. My parents were so happy we moved but I was sad I missed my friend and my relatives but I knew that was the best thing for my family. Well I moved to a school near me and it’s amazing to this day I am doing excellent in school and have loads of friends. It’s not easy to move schools because you don’t know anyone except maybe your sisters and brothers. Just remember change can be amazing if you let it be amazing or it can be awful if you make it awful.
