The makeup is booked, the hair is complete
The dress, oh the dress, is ever so sweet
Pink and puffy, like a princess I glow
I'm a radiant beauty, let's get on with the show
I enter the building, all eyes turn to stare
Lustful and jealous, like a maiden, I am fair
The crowd parts like the sea, as my prince comes forth
To meet me at the centre of this illustrious dance floor
And we dance and we dance and we dance the night away
Until morning rose and I could no longer stay
Unlike the Cinderella tale, he won't find me again
The night was precious, but now it must come to an end
