Paddling through the grey, foaming rolling barrels
Thundering, crashing, towards the shore
Duck diving under the first wave,
Cold water enters my steamer and takes my breath away
Saltwater, stinging, freezing my nose
As a monster set dumps like clothes drier going round and round
Then the storm sleeps and it's peaceful again
I LOVE SURFING IN WINTER.
